The fix in v8 was backported to v6. Additional references included.
Removed /E:P from the CVSS v4 string. Even though it's valid per the official validator, Github will not accept it.

Pull request overview

This PR updates the GitHub security advisory for CVE-2025-69873, which describes a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) vulnerability in the ajv JSON schema validator when using the $data option. The update reflects that the fix originally implemented in v8 has been backported to v6, and provides additional references.

Changes:

  • Updated affected version ranges to reflect v6 backport (split into 0-6.14.0 and 7.0.0-8.18.0)
  • Removed /E:P from CVSS v4 score for GitHub compatibility
  • Added references for v6 backport (PR #2588, commit, release tag)
